I’ve been using Spotify for some time and had seen that when you search for an Artist or Band, you get their “This is..” and “..Radio“. Like this, for Van Morrison:
This is Van Morrison is just his ‘essential tracks’ in one playlist. Not his greatest hits, nor most popular. But anyway, not the point here 🙂
Van Morrison Radio is another playlist that usually starts with one of his songs, but then has similar artist’s tracks, then one of Van’s, then similar artist’s etc.
Now, I was only told of the Song Radio last week. It generates a list of similar songs from a range of artists. It’s very good. You select a song and from the pop up menu (click on the three dots …) then click on Go to Song Radio.
I love Peter Gabriel’s Solsbury Hill, so here we go:
And we get this great Solsbury Hill Radio playlist of similar songs.
